Western Global Hires Regional Sales Manager for Canada
Western Global, a leading provider of portable tanks and dispensing equipment for the storage and handling of fuels, lubricants and other fluids, has hired Dean Nasato as the regional sales manager of the rental and equipment division in Canada. He will provide support for Canadian customers.
The rental and equipment division was formed by Western Global in early 2019, and Nasato will be the first dedicated rental representative in the Canadian region. Nasato brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, with previous positions in rental equipment sales and general construction equipment sales.
“I’ve been selling construction equipment to the rental industry for the last 20 years,” Nasato said. “I’m excited to venture into a new product line. Fuel tank storage solutions have been around for years, but demand is definitely emerging as people understand their value. I’m looking forward to supporting that growth.”
Nasato most recently spent 19 years at Wacker-Neuson as a district manager, selling construction equipment to the rental channel. Prior to that, he held a sales role at Atlas Copco (previously Kango) where he sold general construction equipment.
“Dean’s experience will be a great asset to customers,” said Barry Truan, Western Global vice president – Americas. “His enthusiasm for the rental equipment industry drives the success of colleagues and rental centers. Customers will find that Dean is a great resource for all things rental.”
Nasato served as associate director for the local Ontario Canadian Rental Association (CRA), as well as the national CRA. He was also involved in the CRA Ontario trade show and the was on the CRA Ontario golf tournament committee.
Nasato is based out of his home office in southern Ontario, and will report to Western Global’s U.S. headquarters in Troy, Mich.
Western Global is an international designer and manufacturer of industry-leading tanks and equipment for fuel and fluid handling.
