LiuGong NA Hires Regional Sales Manager, Forklift Division

LiuGong NA Forklift has hired Drew Braun as regional sales manager forklift, reporting directly to Ken Biediger, president.

LiuGong NA Forklift has hired Drew Braun as regional sales manager forklift, reporting directly to Ken Biediger, president. Based in Atlanta, Braun will be working closely with the LiuGong dealer network in the eastern half of the United States. Braun brings more than 25 years of high-level management experience in the material handling industry, having held positions at both the OEM and dealer levels with several leading brands.

Biediger added that Braun will help LiuGong further expand the continually growing footprint of its material handling equipment in the eastern U.S.

“A big selling point for me was the experienced staff Ken has assembled for product support – the key to success,” said Braun. “I have known Ken for many years and am very impressed with the many advancements he has made in developing the LiuGong forklift product line to meet the North American market’s demands. He has built up the LiuGong brand to exceed customer expectations. Our new 3 Series forklifts and new Class IV products will give our dealers much more ability to grow their markets.”

LiuGong also named Gerardo Villagomez Exiga as its new sales manager for Mexico and Latin America for the Forklift Division.

Exiga brings 25 years of experience in technical heavy equipment sales with Bomag-Marini Rodoviarios, serving as area sales manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and as territory manager for Iron Planet. Exiga holds several construction equipment certifications from the U.S., Germany, Brazil and Mexico.
