Caterpillar Considering Relocating Pennsylvania Distribution Facility

Caterpillar is considering closing its distribution facility in Springettsbury Township in central Pennsylvania, pjstar.com is reporting. Caterpillar spokesman Jim Dugan said the company notified the workers at the York Distribution Center in September regarding the possibility that the facility might be moved somewhere else in the eastern United States.

Caterpillar said it expects to decide by March whether or not it will move, and that the possible move would occur next year. The distribution center employs about 250 people.
