IronPlanet last week named Randy Berry vice president of inspection and appraisal services, responsible for leading Iron Planet’s newly created Inspection Services organization and capabilities.

Berry has more than 25 years of experience improving business performance for Fortune 1,000 companies, including an operations management role with Apple.

“Randy has a deep operational background in business process improvement and optimization as well as extensive experience in professional services and valuation consulting,” said Gregory Owens, chairman and CEO of Iron Planet. “The Ironclad Assurance is a fundamental component of the value we deliver to our customers, and Randy has the expertise to ensure we continue to deliver on our promise to provide guaranteed inspection reports as we continue our global expansion.”
