Gorman-Rupp Declares Cash Dividend and Promotes Staffers

The board of directors of Mansfield, Ohio-based Gorman-Rupp last month declared a quarterly cash dividend of 10 cents per share on the common stock of the Company, payable June 10 to shareholders of record May 15.

The board of directors of Mansfield, Ohio-based Gorman-Rupp last month declared a quarterly cash dividend of 10 cents per share on the common stock of the Company, payable June 10 to shareholders of record May 15. This marks the 233rd consecutive dividend paid by The Gorman-Rupp Company.

In other action, the board of directors elected Wayne Knabel to the position of vice president of finance and Ronald Pittenger to the position of assistant treasurer.

Knabel joined the Company in March 2008 as assistant to the chief financial officer and has served as chief financial officer of several companies and is a former partner of Ernst & Young LLP.

Pittenger joined the Company in 1993 and most recently held the position of corporate controller.
