Caterpillar will open new Regional Parts Distribution Centers near Arvin, Calif., and Spokane, Wash., later this month, Caterpillar dealer Peterson Tractor is reporting on its website. Caterpillar is spending billions of dollars on new plants and facilities across North America during the next few years, the company said.

The facility has a 400,000-square-foot warehouse with an additional 200,000 square feet of outside storage.
Caterpillar’s new Spokane Distribution Center has 562,000 square feet of warehouse space, plus 250,000 square feet of outside storage. The facility will replace the 50-year-old Spokane Regional Parts Distribution Center, which had 123,000 square feet of warehouse space.
