Fargo, N.D.-based Bobcat Co. last week announced that its Gwinner and Bismarck, N.D., plants will shut down for part of June and July due to the economic slowdown.
The Bismarck plant will be closed June 10-12 and July 6-10. The Gwinner plant will close June 10-12, June 24-26 and June 29. It will close again July 6-10 for previously scheduled maintenance.
According to the company, salaried workers, including research and development, and engineers will remain on the job.
