Exton, Pa.-based Genesis Power Products last week announced it has signed contracts with Hokuetsu Industries Co. and Sakai Heavy Industries, both headquartered in Tokyo, for the exclusive North American distribution rights for Airman generators and air compressors, and Sakai light compaction products, respectively.
Airman and Sakai products were formerly distributed by MMD Equipment of Swedesboro, N.J.

Sakai products, including vibratory rammers, vibratory plates, and walk behind and ride-on vibratory compaction rollers, will continue to be sold through the existing independent manufacturer's representative organization.
