Haulotte will preview the prototype of its new rough-terrain telescopic boom, the HT23RTJ, at the Intermat trade show in Paris this month. The aerial work platform was designed by Haulotte’s research and development department in close collaboration with a panel of customers to meet the needs of a range of industries working at heights up to 23 meters (about 75 feet).

The unit can reach full height in 53 seconds, has four-wheel steer and drive, with two-wheel steer and crab settings as well. The unit has oscillating axles as standard, for rough-terrain ability, differential lock and a narrow chassis for congested environments.

The HT23RTJ features the new Haulotte fully modular basket. The machine will be available beginning October 2012 in North America as well as Europe.

Intermat will be held in Paris April 16-21.
