Husqvarna last week announced that Hans Linnarson, executive vice president, head of sales Europe & Asia/Pacific, has been appointed acting CEO and president. Magnus Yngen, the company’s CEO and president, is currently absent due to illness. In the interim, Linnarson will hold both positions.
“We are pleased that Hans Linnarson will be acting CEO and president for the Husqvarna Group,” said Lars Westerberg, chairman of the board. “Hans has long experience from various management positions in product development, marketing and production as well as in sales within Electrolux since 1994 and from Husqvarna since 2004.”
The Husqvarna Group is the world’s largest producer of outdoor power products, including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors.
