Olathe, Kan.-based Husqvarna Construction Products this week announced its new hires and promotions for the first quarter of 2012.
Chris Banks joined Husqvarna as the district sales manager for Southern Florida. Banks has more than 13 years of experience in construction equipment sales.
Ed Cancela became the district sales manager in Central and Northern Florida. With more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry, Cancela was previously an outside sales person as well as a branch manager for equipment rental companies.
Randy Silver is Husqvarna’s new district sales manager for the surface preparation team in Atlanta. Silver will cover the entire Southeast United States. He was previously a general contractor for 10 years and a manufacturer’s representative in the contractor’s market for 12 years prior.
Christopher Trevitt is handling territory in San Diego County, South Orange County and Riverside County in California, and Las Vegas as a district sales manager. Trevitt most recently was a superintendent and project manager for a commercial construction company.
Ryan Word was promoted to district sales manager covering the Central and West Texas regions. He was previously a territory manager for Husqvarna and has been with the company for more than 2 years.
Peyton Carroll joined Husqvarna in Dec 2010 as a territory manager and was recently promoted to district sales manager. Carroll’s territory includes the greater Houston area.
