Racine, Wis.-based Case New Holland last week announced plans to lay off 150 workers at its Burlington, Iowa, facility, beginning July 2.
The company cited a reduction in backhoe and rough-terrain forklift sales as the reason for the layoffs. Both types of equipment are manufactured at the Burlington facility.
