Linamar Corp.’s Skyjack Division recently named Brian Black vice president of sales. Black, a 35-year veteran in the industry, brings a wealth of experience to the company from his work in North America and overseas.
Black began his career with Caterpillar, and has worked with JLG, Snorkel, Grove Cranes, Genie, Terex and most recently Teupen.
Skyjack president Brad Boehler said the company will benefit from Black’s skills and experience, particularly his established relationships in the industry. “Skyjack has always been a relationship-oriented business, and we want to stay that way,” Boehler said.
Black’s first order of business domestically includes a deepening of existing relationships with major North American rental companies, and a fresh look at product development and marketing. On the global front, Black sees Skyjack expanding the company’s presence outside of North American, getting more involved in the Middle East, Latin America and the Far East.
Skyjack designs, manufactures, and supports self-propelled aerial work platforms, including DC electric scissorlifts, engine-powered rough-terrain scissorlifts, telescopic and articulated boomlifts, and telehandlers. Skyjack is a division of the Linamar Corp.
