Diesel Progress magazine honored Case Construction Equipment with an Excellence in Equipment Engineering award in the loader/backhoe category for the 590 Super M+ Series 3 loader/backhoe at the bauma construction tradeshow held in April in Munich, Germany.

The Diesel Progress Excellence in Equipment Engineering Awards recognize excellence in mobile equipment engineering in 13 separate categories, covering medium and heavy construction equipment (wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators and trucks), compact equipment (compact wheel loaders, skid-steer/track loaders and mini-excavators), lift equipment (telescopic handlers, cranes and forklifts), road-building equipment (motor graders and compactors/rollers) and agricultural equipment (tractors).
The editorial board of Diesel Progress, with input from several industry suppliers, identified three final candidates in each of several machine segments, including the loader/backhoe category. The Case 590 Super M+ was selected as the best loader/backhoe, garnering 47.9 percent of the overall vote in that category by more than 9,000 readers of Diesel Progress, Diesel Progress International and visitors to the Diesel Progress website.
