Husqvarna will work with a developer to build an $8.25 million facility. Company officials hope to complete the move by the fall.

Husqvarna also plans to increase its workforce in Beatrice, Neb., by 100 because of growing demand, the Beatrice Daily Sun reported last week. Since November, the company has hired 60 employees, according to Husqvarna Turf Care vice president Charlie Rogers.

The Beatrice plant makes a variety of lawnmowers, sod cutters and aerators.
