Skyjack’s Largest Rough Terrain Scissor Lift Enters German Market
Skyjack recently introduced the SJ9664 RT in Germany for the first time, delivering it to its longtime customer Wocken Industriepartner GmbH & Co. KG.
“We’re excited to debut the SJ9664 RT in Germany and honored that Wocken, one of our closest customers, is the first to carry our new product,” said Andreas Stumpf, sales and operations manager for Germany and Austria at Skyjack. “Our largest full-size rough terrain scissor lift is the direct product of data analysis, customer feedback, and industry trends that is sure to meet the needs of customers and increase their ROI.”
With growing urbanization and a demand to reach higher platforms, Skyjack introduced the SJ9664 RT that has a working height of 70 feet (21.34 m) - ANSI, 21.51 m - CE. Using an axle-based four-wheel drive system and Smartorque technology, the SJ9664 RT offers an optimized balance of engine horsepower, torque, and hydraulic performance, creating a cost-effective solution for emission regulations and controls.
The SJ9664 RT uses a smaller Tier 4 Final Kubota engine while delivering the same on-site job performance as higher-powered units. It also includes features like a reinforced scissor stack that promotes increased rigidity, simplified e-lowering, and an on-board diagnostic display.
“As a versatile machine that delivers strong all-terrain performance, we’re happy the SJ9664 RT is now part of our fleet,” said Jens Burrichter, manager at WOCKEN. “We have formed a strong relationship with Skyjack over many years and feel confident in recommending Skyjack products to any of our customers.”
Stumpf presented the SJ9664 RT to Burrichter at a construction site in late September.
Wocken Industriepartner is a second-generation family-owned rental company that has been around for about 60 years. It serves a variety of customers across Northern Germany, mainly those in the B2B sector.
