Snorkel Launches Dedicated Distribution for Spain with Ahern Iberica
Ahern International, the global distribution division owned by Don Ahern, is expanding its reach with the opening of Ahern Iberica.
Servicing customers in Spain, Ahern Iberica will provide sales, service and spare parts of Snorkel lifts, from its base in Madrid. The company is currently securing premises and recruiting a team and is scheduled to open its doors for business in June 2019.
Leading the new division will be Enrique Garcia Delgado, who is transitioning from his current role as regional sales director – Europe for Snorkel, to become the managing director of Ahern Iberica. Delgado has more than 17 years of experience in the access industry, having held positions in both sales and technical service. His qualifications include a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School, a Master of International Trade and Negotiation Skills from IMAFE, and a BSc (hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University – ETSIIM, all located in Madrid..
As part of Snorkel’s continued growth and focus on delivering high levels of customer service, the company is expanding its European sales team. The new roles are for a territory manager for Benelux, Switzerland, France and West Africa, and a territory manager for Eastern Europe.
