European rental giant Boels Rental recently acquired three rental companies to expand its services for its customers. Boels, based in Sittard, Netherlands, acquired Already Hire Limited in the United Kingdom, and specialist rental companies Delta Rent and Amdyte (The Netherlands).

Similar to Abird, which Boels acquired on Jan. 1 of this year, Delta Rent is active in industrial rental and more specifically in the petrochemical sector. The acquisition and the new synergy it creates adds significant clout to the capabilities of Boels Rental. Also, Boels purchased Already Hire, a company well-known in machinery rental with four branches in London. With this acquisition Boels strengthens its position in the U.K., after having entered this market in 2017 with the acquisition of the 25-branch Supply UK.

In February of this year, Boels Rental acquired Amdyte, a specialist and market leader in the rental of temporary fencing.

“We are delighted with being able to realize these acquisitions,” said Pierre Boels, CEO of Boels Rental. “They reinforce our business strategy of offering our customers a single counter for all their needs. In addition to the largest network for general rental, we now offer a rapidly growing number of professional specializations. With this latest move, we are responding to the needs of our customers, who increasingly opt for outsourcing. They do this because it is more efficient, but also because hiring is more sustainable than ownership. Thanks to the one-stop shopping principle we are pursuing, we can offer them optimal service, giving us an important competitive edge in the market.”
