Height for Hire Celebrates 500 Units with Pink Haulotte Scissor Lift
Australian rental company Height for Hire is celebrating its 500th machine with a custom-painted pink machine to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation, which raises money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses where needed to help women with breast cancer. The new Compact 14 scissor lift was supplied at cost by Haulotte in support of the McGrath Foundation mission.
Height for Hire will be contributing 20 percent of the rental rate of the machine to the McGrath Foundation and hope to reach a target of $15,000 by October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“We wanted to celebrate our milestone of 500 machines with something special and also wanted to contribute back to the community that supports us,” said Height for Hire owner Ken Baker. “A few of us at Height for Hire have been personally affected by cancer recently, so we are looking for any way to help raise funds towards awareness or services to help those that are suffering from cancer.”
“We are proud to have funded 119 McGrath Breast Care Nurses working nationally who, together, have supported more than 60,000 families going through breast cancer,” said McGrath Foundation ambassador and director Tracy Bevan.
“Pinkie," as the machine is affectionately known, is available for rental from Height for Hire for any jobs requiring up to a 14-meter working platform.
