Power and temperature control specialist Aggreko has agreed to a new long-term partnership with the European Tour until 2023. Aggreko has become the European Tour’s temporary power and climate control supplier, servicing multiple men’s professional golf tournaments across the world, including four premium Rolex Series events per year and the 2018 and 2022 Ryder Cups.

Aggreko will supply temporary power generation, distribution and temperature control equipment, as well as related design and project management services, at a minimum of 12 tournaments per year between 2017 and 2023 including the European Tour, European Challenge Tour and European Senior Tour. In 2017, the European Tour International Schedule features at least 47 tournaments in 26 countries.

“With the European Tour launching the Rolex Series and many more ambitious plans for the future, we are looking forward to delivering the highest level of service and innovation as their exclusive temporary power and climate control supplier,” said Robert Wells, managing director of Aggreko Event Services. “This marks a significant milestone in Aggreko’s relationship with the European Tour and with such a commitment we are delighted to be a part of this prestigious Tour’s plans for the future.”

This year Aggreko will provide services at four Rolex Series events – the BMW PGA Championship, HNA Open de France, Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open – plus the Portugal Masters, British Masters and the Andalucia Valderrama Masters.
