Skyjack recently celebrated its new dealership agreement with Singapore’s Modern Access & Equipment Pte. with an event involving about 100 Skyjack representatives, Modern’s staff and customers and other industry players. Modern became a Skyjack dealer on January 1 of this year and the company used the recent event to showcase a range of Skyjack machines including the new SJ86 T telescopic boomlift. Launched in Asia earlier this year, the SJ86 T is the largest telescopic boom in Skyjack’s lineup and the recent even was the first public presentation of the range-topping unit in Asia. The SJ86 T joins Modern’s fleet as part of an order for 60 new Skyjack units.“We are delighted that Skyjack trusts us to act as their dealers in Singapore, so we wanted to celebrate this union and share the occasion with all stakeholders involved in making this partnership a successful one,” said Klein Phua, assistant general manager at Modern. In addition to the SJ86 T, the company exhibited various scissorlifts: the SJIII 3220, SJIII 3226, SJ111 4632 as well as the SJ16 vertical mast lift, plus the SJ46 AJ and SJ63 AJ from its range of articulating booms as well as the SJ66 T telescopic boom.Attendees enjoyed cocktails and a traditional lion dance performance marking the partnership between Modern and Skyjack.Headquartered in Hong Kong, the Modern Group is a leading equipment supplier in the Asia-Pacific region, with branches in Guangdong and Macau as well as Singapore.
