Snorkel U.K. has buffed up its United Kingdom and Ireland sales team. Following the appointment of U.K. sales director Linda Betts recently, Snorkel has added three new regional sales managers, plus a sales coordinator.

Chris Bennett joined Snorkel from JLG, where he was responsible for developing a dealer network as well as account management and end user sales. He has also worked in retail and as a coach driver. Bennett will handle Snorkel U.K. sales in the Northwest region.

Alistair Jordan will take over sales for the Northeast and Scotland, as well as a used equipment program. Jordan has significant experience in the U.K. access industry, having managed a rental company, Rapid Platforms, and sold capital equipment for many years.

Joseph Whitton was named sales manager for the Yorkshire-Humberside region. Whitton joined Snorkel Europe in 2015 working within the EMEA customer services team.

Snorkel UK also appointed Lisa Killala as sales coordinator, based at Snorkel UK’s headquarter at Washington, Tyne & Wear, and will assist in customer service, including taking inbound customer calls, preparing quotations, processing orders, scheduling deliveries, maintaining the customer database and records, and supporting the overall sales effort.

“Snorkel is committed to providing the highest standard of aerial work platform sales and service in the U.K. market,” said Andrew Fishburn, divisional managing director of Snorkel UK. “We are continuing to appoint high caliber people who can effectively deliver our service expectations to our customer base. Chris and Alistair bring a substantial level of industry knowledge and experience to our team, as well as existing relationships that are invaluable to growing our sales footprint. I am also extremely pleased to be able to provide Joseph with an opportunity to continue his career journey within our business. He is smart and articulate. Lisa is a fantastic addition to our team, and her solid background, organizational skills and customer focus is already making a big impact on our business.”
