IPAF Adds Country Representatives in Turkey, Nordic and Baltic Regions

The International Powered Access Federation has appointed country representatives to support its growing membership in Turkey and in the Nordic and Baltic regions.

The International Powered Access Federation has appointed country representatives to support its growing membership in Turkey and in the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Burcu Ünal is the new country representative for IPAF in Turkey. Ünal is an occupational health and safety professional based in Ankara and is certified by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in Turkey. She previously served as an OHS expert for eight years at the Directorate General of Occupational Heatlt and Safety under the Ministry. She specializes in project management, reporting and quality systems, OHS training and EU legislation in OHS. She will begin in April. To contact IPAF in Turkey, write to [email protected].

Also beginning in April is Johan Friis as country representative for IPAF in the Nordic and Baltic regions, covering Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Friis is based in Finland and draws on his experience as managing director of San-Baltic Certified Construction, where he coordinates training and certification programs for the Nordic construction market, working closely with Nordic construction companies, training companies and local authorities.

Friis was previously country manager at Trackunit, and was responsible for its operations in Finland for fleet management services within the construction machine and rental industry. He can be reached at [email protected] or [email protected].
