Netherlands-based international aerial rental giant Riwal has opened a new branch in Leek, near Groningen, to cover the northern area of the Netherlands. The new facility fits Riwal’s strategy of enhancing its national coverage and increasing its local presence in the Benelux area.
With existing branches in Dordrecht, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Genk, Belgium, the new branch will enhance its coverage and reduce the distance to customers and increase transport efficiency. The Groningen depot offers a broad assortment of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, and will also offer equipment sales, technical support, parts service and training courses.
“We are focused on providing the highest levels of safety, productivity, and service for our customers, and opening in Groningen supports that goal,” said Henk van den Boom, country manager for the Benelux region. “We also look forward to helping customers with their access needs as our Groningen team pushes forward with our newest location.”
Riwal, with headquarters in Dordrecht, has operations in 17 countries on three continents, and has more than 13,000 aerial units in its fleet.
