JLG Industries is introducing its LiftPod in the U.K. by agreement with U.K. rental chain HSS Hire, which will serve as JLG’s exclusive distributor. HSS has invested heavily in the initial consignment, with further deliveries to follow shortly, HSS said.
HSS will offer training courses on the portable unit with maximum height of 14 feet and 360-degree range of motion.
“We already have a great working relationship with HSS and with their national network, their enthusiasm for innovation and progress and their commitment to health and safety and training, they were the obvious choice to take our new product to the whole of the U.K. market,” said JLG’s Alan Hall.
HSS Hire has an established network of more than 250 locations including several “supercentres” with extended hours. The company also runs a dedicated training course.
