U.K.’s Northbridge Posts 66-Percent Profit Jump

United Kingdom’s Northbridge Industrial Services, which acquired Loadbank Hire Services in March 2007, last week posted a 66-percent rise in its first-half pre-tax profit with revenues up 44 percent. The company, based in Burton-on-Trent, England, said trading across its group was strong, with inquiries for rental at a record level and trading for the full year surpassing market expectations.
