Finnish infrastructure contractor Destia has signed a five-year deal to outsource modules and light machinery to Helsinki-based Ramirent, which does business in 13 countries in northern, central and eastern Europe.
The two companies have finalized an agreement for which they signed a letter of intent in January.
“We believe this solution frees up resources for our core activities and will provide efficient availability to safe and high-quality equipment for our projects and a partnership through which we can further improve our operations,” said Destia’s procurement director Petri Roimela.
Ramirent Finland’s managing director Kari Aulasmaa said Ramirent’s services will “help improve efficiency in handling equipment needs and related services to Destia’s project sites.”
