ConExpo Asia 2007 Surpasses ’06 Exhibit Space

Exhibit space for ConExpo Asia 2007 has already surpassed the size of the 2006 show’s exhibit space. As of mid-February, exhibit space sales topped 39,000 square meters, more than 24 percent greater than the size of the 2006 show.

ConExpo Asia 2007 will be held Dec. 4-7 at the Chinese Export Commodities Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China. The show will feature Chinese and non-Chinese manufacturers.

Leading Chinese manufacturers such as Shantui and Zoomlion have increased their exhibit space and others such as Sany, Sunward and Xuzhou Excavator will be exhibiting for the first time. Ingersoll Rand has booked 60 percent more exhibit space, Case Construction Machinery 30 percent more, and Caterpillar more than 20 percent more.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is organizing the show with the China Ministry of Commerce’s China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products. For more information, check out www.conexpoasia.com.
