Speedy Hire Donates Equipment to Charitable Group for Building in Africa

Speedy Hire is donating £53,000 (about U.S. $82,000) worth of equipment to support the work of Build IT International, which assists local communities in Africa to deliver essential low-cost community buildings. The equipment includes power tools, concrete mixers and an excavator.

Speedy is also donating scaffolding and protective clothing, not available locally.

The donated goods will arrive in Zambia, March 2011.
