Paint-spray systems manufacturer Hero Products Group last week announced the acquisition of ECS Color Systems and ECS Color Solutions of Mumbai, India. The acquisition gives Hero a base for the economic production, development and distribution of its range of mixing and dispensing machines for global distribution.
Hero also announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire NIT s.r.l., Turin, Italy, a manufacturer of automated dispensing and mixing devices for the architectural coatings industry. And the company has entered into a joint venture with a Chinese equipment manufacturer to provide components and an Asian base for local production and distribution of paint-spraying products.
