Harsco Adds Major Projects in Chile & The Netherlands
Worldwide industrial services specialist Harsco Corp. last week announced about $1 million of international orders in The Netherlands and Chile.
In Chile, Harsco’s formwork will be used during the concrete construction of a new public hospital, one of several initiatives planned as part of the country’s 2010 Bicentennial Master Plan. The formwork support begins this month and is expected to continue for almost a year. Harsco has been active in Chile for more than a decade.
In The Netherlands, Harsco will supply rental scaffolding to the Dillenburgh neighborhood restoration project in The Hague, building on an existing customer relationship with Netherlands-based construction contractor Bokx Bouw, and will include construction of a new high-rise apartment building as well as multiple building renovations.
Harsco has obtained close to $5 million worth of similar orders within the past month in Peru, France, Romania and the United States for equipment and services to the infrastructure sector.
