Snorkel’s new A62JRT articulated boomlift is making its U.K. debut this week at Vertikal Days 2012 at the Haydock Park race course June 27 and 28 in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, U.K.
The A62JRT provides a maximum platform height of 19m (62ft) and will go into production later this year. It replaces the Snorkel AB60JRT, offering significantly improved drive and lift capabilities - particularly ‘up-and-over’ clearance - and a 100-percent reduction in tail swing compared to the older model.
Designed for rough terrain applications, the A62JRT shares a common chassis with Snorkel’s new 46-foot and 66-foot telescopic booms, helping to simplify service and repair work. Areas where this lift excels include maximum platform height at 18.8m (61ft 8 inches) and up-and-over clearance at 9m (29 ft 6 inches).
Along with the new lift, Snorkel is exhibiting machines representative of its extensive range. Also on the Snorkel stand will be the award-winning Pop-Up range of low-level access products, which are increasingly replacing ladders, steps and podiums for working indoors at lower heights.
