Irish rental company William O’Brien Plant Hire has hired advisors to handle the sale of the company, according to Irish Internet reports. The 50-year-old crane rental specialist has hired Merrion Capital’s Cork, Ireland, office to find a buyer for the company over the next couple of months.

Irish rental company William O’Brien Plant Hire has hired advisors to handle the sale of the company, according to Irish Internet reports. The 50-year-old crane rental specialist has hired Merrion Capital’s Cork, Ireland, office to find a buyer for the company over the next couple of months.

WOPH is based in Bishopstown with branches in Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

The company’s volume has grown ten-fold in the past decade, reaching about $10 million pounds (about U.S. $16.5 million) in 2005. WOPH is also involved in the concrete-pumping business.
