Contractors looking for road construction equipment in New Jersey and parts of New York will have a new option.

Dynapac North America has named Marshall Machinery its newest dealer, adding another source for equipment used in paving, soil preparation and road construction.

New Dealer Covers New Jersey and New York

The partnership, announced Oct. 9, covers Northern New Jersey and seven New York counties: Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester.

In those areas, Marshall Machinery will represent Dynapac’s full lineup of compaction and light equipment. In Southern New Jersey, the dealership will offer Dynapac’s complete soil compaction line.

Marshall Machinery will offer equipment sales, parts and service support throughout its assigned territory. The company has decades of experience serving construction, roadbuilding, agricultural and industrial customers and operates multiple locations across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Equipment for Paving and Soil Compaction

The equipment serves several purposes on a construction site. Soil compactors press soil into a firm base before paving begins, while asphalt rollers help crews compact newly laid pavement.

Pavers and screeds help lay and shape asphalt, and light compaction equipment can be used on smaller jobs and in tighter spaces. Dynapac also manufactures feeders used in paving operations.

What the Partnership Means for Contractors

Earl Marshall, president of Marshall Machinery, said adding Dynapac’s equipment will give the dealership’s customers more options for their projects.

The appointment is part of Dynapac’s effort to build a dealer network that can connect contractors with equipment, parts and ongoing service support in their local markets.

Dynapac manufactures soil and asphalt rollers, compact equipment, pavers and feeders. The company is part of the FAYAT Group and is headquartered in Wardenburg, Germany. It operates production facilities in Europe, South America and Asia. Its North American regional headquarters is in Fort Mill, S.C.
