Rental Veterans Launch HFI Rentals in Houston

Members of the company's leadership team have previously owned and operated an equipment rental business in the Houston market, bringing firsthand knowledge of the industry.

HFI Rentals, a newly formed construction equipment rental company serving Houston and the surrounding market, today announced its official launch. The company is bringing together an experienced team, a fleet of new equipment, and a renewed commitment to delivering exceptional service to contractors and construction professionals.

While HFI Rentals is new, the team behind it is not. Members of the company's leadership team have previously owned and operated an equipment rental business in the Houston market, bringing firsthand knowledge of the industry, local customers, and the equipment contractors rely on every day. Jason Herin was formerly CEO of CBS Rentals in Houston.

"We are incredibly excited to be back in the equipment rental industry and serving the Houston construction community." said Jason Herin, owner and CEO of HFI Rentals. "This is an industry our team knows, understands, and genuinely has a passion for. We have an opportunity to take everything we've learned through our previous experience and build a company focused on what we believe matters most, strong relationships, dependable equipment, and doing business the right way. We couldn't be more excited about what we're building."

HFI Rentals is entering the market with a fleet of new construction equipment, giving customers access to modern and dependable machines backed by a team that understands the demands of active jobsites. The initial fleet includes mobile elevating work platforms, scissor lifts, telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators and other equipment serving commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Customer service will be a central focus of the company's operations, with an emphasis on responsiveness, reliability, and building long-term relationships rather than simply completing individual rental transactions.

It’s a service business

"Equipment rental is ultimately a service business," said Trent Ledkins, chief operating officer of HFI Rentals. "Our goal is to make doing business with us easy. That means answering the phone, responding quickly, delivering dependable equipment and following through on what we say we're going to do. We want our customers to view us as an extension of their team and a partner they can count on when the job demands it."

The company is built around four core values: Integrity, Service, Innovation and Performance which will guide how HFI Rentals works with customers, employees, and business partners.

Integrity guides us to do what is right and follow through on our commitments. Service keeps our customers at the center of everything we do, with a focus on making their jobs easier. Innovation drives us to continually find better ways to serve our customers and operate more effectively. Performance holds our company, our people, and our equipment to the highest standards every day.

Beyond providing equipment, HFI Rentals intends to develop strategic partnerships with its customers by understanding their businesses, anticipating their equipment needs, and helping them keep projects moving.

"We aren't interested in simply being another equipment provider," added Herin. "We want to earn the opportunity to become a strategic partner to our customers. If our customers are successful, we're successful. That's the kind of company we're building for the long term."

HFI Rentals wants to bring a fresh approach backed by experience to Houston's construction and industrial markets.

The company is now serving customers throughout Houston and the surrounding area.
