International Powered Access Federation has created free poster artwork for use by rental companies, contractors and other end-users as part of its latest Andy Access campaign promoting the safe use of aerial work platforms, or mobile elevating work platforms as they are called in some countries.

Simple posters featuring the characters Andy Access and Hugh Hazard form the basis of the campaign. Three posters are featured in the launch and new posters will be released every few months. Each poster illustrates a specific safety message on how to use AWPs correctly.

“The Andy Access posters have originated as a means of communicating the valuable learning outcomes identified from the IPAF accident reporting project and as a means of reinforcing the key messages covered in IPAF’s training programs,” said Chris Wraith, IPAF technical and safety executive.

Andy Access posters are available in several languages and artwork can be downloaded from www.ipaf.org/andyaccess. Ideas for additional Andy Access safety themes can be e-mailed to [email protected].
