Atlas Crane Appoints Equipment Industry Veteran Bobby Creason CEO
Atlas Crane Service LLC, a national crane, rigging, and heavy haul provider, announced the appointment of Bobby Creason as its new CEO. Creason is replacing Charles Kent, who is looking to spend more time with his family and explore opportunities closer to his home in California.
Focusing on renewable energy and heavy industrial infrastructure, Atlas has grown into a pre-eminent service provider for sophisticated construction and maintenance projects. As demand has increased, Atlas has expanded with new yards and grown its state-of-the-art fleet.
Creason noted that he is eager to build upon Atlas’ existing accomplishments, while at the same time “providing the guidance and direction from somebody with nearly 30 years of experience with current customers and prospects.”
Most recently Creason was CEO of United Site Services in Boise, Idaho. He was also president and CEO of Booth Machinery; Western regional vice president for BlueLine Rental, and held numerous positions with Volvo Rents.
Atlas Crane was founded in 2009 and headquartered in Aurora, Ill. Atlas is a full-service crane, rigging, and heavy haul provider offering transportation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions to more than 250 customers throughout the United States.
