Bacon Universal, an equipment dealer serving Hawaii’s construction, industrial and agricultural sectors since 1947, has begun an equipment rental division, Mauinow.com has reported. Bacon Rentals is beginning this week on Maui, with the company’s first dedicated rental facility in Wailuku, Mauinow.com reports. The rental branch is located next to an existing Bacon Universal branch on Alua Street, where it will serve as a hub for rental operations on the island, the company said.

Called Bacon Rentals, the rental division is an expansion of Bacon Universal’s rental services, while continuing to provide sales, parts and service support, the company said. This new division serves customers with a full suite of solutions tailored to their needs.

Jeff Pape, who has more than 32 years of experience in equipment rental, will lead the rental team on Maui.

Bacon Universal president and CEO Matthew Elvin told Mauinow.com that the company’s goal is to provide a reliable, professional local rental service with a broad and modern range of equipment.
