Sunbelt Rentals has promoted Monica Ziegler to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief people officer. In her new role, Ziegler will serve on the executive committee and lead efforts to advance the strategy and culture of the organization.

“The greatest way to support our team members is to invest in them,” said Sunbelt chief executive Brendon Horgan. “Monica’s efforts have already proven to be invaluable to our organization and with her vision, we will further our people-first strategy.”

Since 2021, Ziegler has been the vice president of talent and development for Sunbelt Rentals. In this position, she was instrumental in continuing the path to progression for employees by enhancing succession planning and leadership development. Prior to joining the organization, Ziegler held several leadership roles at a large automotive parts company.

“The company culture we have created here at Sunbelt Rentals is like no other,” said Ziegler. “We pride ourselves on ensuring our more than 18,000 team members feel supported and empowered in their careers, and as we continue to grow, we will further our efforts to attract and develop talent across the organization.”

As the organization scales, Sunbelt Rentals will invest in both top talent and existing employees to drive its strategic vision, Sunbelt 3.0, forward, the company said.

Sunbelt Rentals, No. 2 on the RER 100, is based in Fort Mill, S..C.
