A crew of BigRentz employees picked up hammers, drills and saws April 11, to help build a new Habitat for Humanity of Orange County (HHOC) home in Fullerton, Calif. The BigRentz crew will return to the site May 17 with leaders from other Orange County companies for a Leaders Build Challenge, and the national equipment rental network is looking for more companies to join its team.

“There is great satisfaction in serving with Habitat for Humanity because when you see that frame built, those houses complete, and families move in, you see your donations and sweat from hard work come to life,” said Scott Cannon, CEO of BigRentz. “We’ve participated with HHOC for several years. This year’s competition encourages more corporate involvement and increases donations to meet their goal of building 12 new houses within three years.”

The BigRentz team currently includes the Bank of California, Burns and Levinson law firm, 10 Management Group, Kush Co. Holding, Integrity Wealth Management, Gallagher, and Cambria Capital Investments. They will be up against four other corporate teams comprising of local companies. BigRentz encourages others to consider donating to The BigRentz and Crew - Leaders Build Challenge 2019 to help it reach its goal.

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County has a target of raising $300,000 annually for building four homes per year in Fullerton over the next three years.
