Kirby-Smith Machinery Opens McAlester, Oklahoma, Branch
Kirby-Smith Machinery has opened a new branch, already doing business in McAlester, Okla. The McAlester branch will provide new and existing customers in southeastern Oklahoma with new and used equipment inventory for sale and rent, one of the largest and most efficient parts inventories in the region, and reliable service in the shop and the field, according to the company, all at the local level.
The McAlester office will also improve coverage options for customers located geographically between the heavy equipment distributor’s Tulsa, Okla., and Dallas branches.
“We are very excited about our newest branch location in McAlester,” said Jeff Weller, chief operating officer and executive vice president. “It is strategically located to ensure that existing and new customers in southeastern Oklahoma will receive the care they deserve. We see a lot of positive growth on the 75 corridor in both Oklahoma and Texas, and this McAlester office will fill in the distance that existed between Tulsa and Dallas.”
McAlester will carry the same manufacturing lines as its sister branches in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Kirby-Smith Machinery is the authorized dealer throughout Oklahoma of Komatsu earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, dump trucks and motor graders. It is also the dealer of the Wirtgen Group line of roadbuilding equipment, Takeuchi compact equipment, Terramac crawler carriers, and Manitowoc Cranes, including Grove and National Crane and other leading manufacturers.
Branch operations will be managed by Bruce Taylor. Salesmen for the area include territory manager Ron Allen and product support representative Brian DeVore. A grand opening even for McAlester will be held in spring 2019.
Kirby-Smith Machinery is No. 32 on the RER 100.
