Roland Machinery Makes Acquisition; Adds Two Wisconsin Branches

Roland Machinery Co. has acquired Heavy Equipment Specialist LLC in Slinger, Wis. Roland has also expanded its operations with the opening of a new location in Franksville, Wis.

Roland Machinery Co. has acquired Heavy Equipment Specialist LLC in Slinger, Wis. Roland has also expanded its operations with the opening of a new location in Franksville, Wis.

Roland Machinery Co. is an authorized Doosan Portable Power dealer and will be representing the brand in each of the new locations. Roland is also well known as a Komatsu dealer, and is a major player in equipment rental.

Headquartered in Springfield, Ill., Roland Machinery has been serving the heavy construction industry for 60 years. The company operates 17 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, eastern Missouri, northwestern Indiana and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The new branch in Franksville will provide rentals, sales, parts and service to the southeast Wisconsin market.

“The market is growing extensively and reinvesting in the region is a top priority,” said Matt Roland, president of Roland Machinery. “We continue to expand our services to support customers who purchase top quality products from our manufacturers, like Doosan Portable Power.”

The company will also increase service to northwest Milwaukee and the southern Fox Valley, Wis., area with the acquisition of Heavy Equipment Specialist.

Roland Machinery Co. is No. 84 on the RER 100.
