Able Equipment Rental has opened a new branch in Allentown, Pa., giving Able six full-line facilities. Serving the Lehigh Valley and its immediate surroundings, the branch is located on two acres. The 18,000-square-foot facility is positioned to attract customers from the region’s strong Northeast Pennsylvania customer base.

“Given its optimal location with excellent transportation routes, our new Allentown branch is poised to become a key construction equipment supplier in the region,” said Steven Laganas, Able’s CEO. “We researched and visited several facilities in the area before committing to the property in Allentown. We’re extremely excited to be part of the Lehigh Valley business community.”

Able’s move into the Lloyd St. location will eventually bring up to 30 additional jobs to the Lehigh Valley workforce, the company said. Some of these jobs include drivers, mechanics, rental coordinators, and account managers.

“The Able team is made up of employees with a can-do attitude eager to please customers,” said Chris Pera, Able’s chief operating officer. “When we enter a new market we’re always thinking about the talent that already exists in the area. The Allentown region has a seasoned and experienced employee candidate pool to choose from. It’s really a perfect match for Able.”

Able purchases equipment from leading manufacturers and continues to add to its fleet. Able offers daily, weekly, monthly and long-term rentals, and financing plans for new and used equipment.

Able is headquartered in Deer Park, N.Y., in Long Island, and has other locations in Edison and Pennsauken, N.J., Honey Brook and Norristown, Pa. Able Equipment Rental is No. 67 on the RER 100.
