Cummins Launches Multi-Lingual Parts Catalog on Parts.cummins.com
Cummins Inc. has launched its parts catalog in five languages in addition to English on parts.cummins.com. This is the first time in the company’s history the parts catalog has been translated on one site for global use.
Parts.cummins.com is now available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. These languages were selected based on customer use of the site and allow Cummins to better serve and support customers around the world.
“Customer confidence is our top priority, and being able to research a part using the customer’s primary language is key to ensuring that our customers more easily find the right part,” said Katie Stevens, program leader of aftermarket information management for Cummins.
Parts.cummins.com offers the parts catalog and website navigational features in each language, allowing customers around the world to search for parts information with greater ease. Parts information can now be found using any serial or part number available on their Cummins engine or component including Holset turbochargers, Onan generators, after-treatment solutions and Fleetguard filtration solutions. Other recent updates to the site provide customers with access to ReCon and Joint Venture engine information, all Holset Turbocharger information previously located at holsetcatalogue.cummins.com, as well as parts graphics.
Additional features will be forthcoming, including emissions solutions catalog enhancements and the capability to search by unique part attributes like: dimension, saleability, voltage, flywheel rotation, thread pitch and more.
