National Trench Safety, Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sale of trench shoring and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, has opened a new branch operation in Seattle.

“We’re very pleased to be announcing the opening of our new Seattle operation,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. “Seattle has demonstrated strong, robust growth over the last few years and will allow us to strengthen and increase our support along the West Coast. We’ve been servicing this area for some time on larger projects and the opening is an extension of our need to better service our customer base.”

The Seattle operation will be led by Gene Nowlan, a trench-safety industry veteran. “Gene joined us almost two years ago and quickly demonstrated a proficiency to strengthen and lead branch operations. We are very excited about the prospects in the Seattle market given Gene’s experience and look forward to establishing NTS as the premier trench safety supplier in the market.”

The Seattle operation is the 33rd branch location for National Trench Safety in the United States and England. The footprint enables NTS to provide its national, regional and local market customers a fully integrated, national branch network delivering unique engineered solutions, a high level of customer service and cost-effective shoring solutions.

NTS plans to open several additional branch locations during the next 12 months.
