Xylem Boosts 2017 Revenue 24.8 Percent in 2017

Xylem, leading global water technology company and major pump manufacturer and rental company, reported $4,707 billion in full year 2017 revenue, compared to $3,771 million in 2016, a 24.8-percent year-over-year increase.

Xylem, leading global water technology company and major pump manufacturer and rental company, reported $4,707 billion in full year 2017 revenue, compared to $3,771 million in 2016, a 24.8-percent year-over-year increase. Gross profit went from $1,461 million to $1,851 million, a 26.7-percent jump.

Operating income was $556 million for the year compared to $406 million in 2016, a 36.9-percent boost.

Fourth quarter revenue was $1.3 billion, a 17-percent year-over-year leap, including the full quarter contribution from the Sensus business compared to the previous-year period that had only two months of the Sensus results. Revenue for the quarter increased 7 percent on an organic proforma basis.

EBITDA improved by 40 basis points to 20.2 percent.

Xylem expects an increase of 18 to 24 percent improvement in adjusted earnings per share in 2018.
