Takeuchi-US, an innovative global leader in compact construction equipment, has been selected as United Rentals’ 2017 Supplier of the Year. Recipients of the award are determined by several key factors, all relating to the overall value, support and timely delivery of compact construction equipment.

Tallied for each supplier, United Rentals gathers both qualitative and quantitative information, focusing on product support, training, warranty, cost management, procurement, logistics, general management and residual value.

“We have had a fantastic working relationship with United Rentals over the years and it is an honor to be selected as their Supplier of the Year,” said Clay Eubanks, president of Takeuchi-US. “The criteria for which the recipients are chosen speak volumes to the many Takeuchi employees that are involved with making this partnership a success. I’m very proud of the work and dedication that our employees show, not just to United Rentals, but to all of our customers.”

“We are honored to award Takeuchi with our 2017 Supplier of the Year award,” said T.J. Mahoney, vice president of supply chain, for United Rentals. “Suppliers play a valuable role in the success of our business, and Takeuchi has always been a key player by delivering on service, quality and value. We look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come.”
