Atlas Copco Construction Equipment North America has named Chuck Westhofen strategic development manager. Westhofen will seek growth opportunities in the United States and Canadian markets the company serves through its Power Technique business area: Air compressors, power generation, lighting and pumps.
Westhofen has held leadership roles at Atlas Copco for 12 years, most recently business development manager positions with Atlas Copco Rental. His Atlas Copco experience also includes tenures as factory product manager – Rock Hill/GenMaster and product manager – generators and compressors.
“Chuck’s background and expertise made him an ideal choice to drive growth as our company evolves,” said Scott Carnell, president of Atlas Copco Construction Equipment North America.
Westhofen is based in Rock Hill, S.C., where Atlas Copco opened a new 197,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in early 2017.
