Canada’s Cooper Equipment Rentals opened its second branch in the country’s capital Ottawa May 1. The nearly 4,000-square-foot branch is located in downtown Ottawa and features three service bays, onsite parking and a showroom. Cooper will conduct an Open House at the new Ottawa branch June 9.

The new branch gives the fast-growing Cooper, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, 22 branches. Its locations are primarily in Ontario and Quebec. The company earlier this year acquired 4-Way Equipment Rentals, giving it its first branch in Alberta.

Cooper has also launched a new program called The Cooper Crew. The crew will visit jobsites in the greater Toronto area in a branded mini-Cooper automobile and give away refreshments and promotional items. The crew will visit, rain or shine, and provide weather-appropriate giveaways – for example in cold weather they’ll bring coffee, in hot weather they’ll offer cold drinks and cool treats. Customers can book a Crew visit between May 1 and August 31. The Crew will make an appearance this week at Cooper’s Grand Opening at its new branch in Kitchener, Ontario, west of Toronto.
