Hugg & Hall Equipment Acquires RPM Services & Rentals

Hugg & Hall Equipment Co. has acquired RPM Services & Rentals, one of the largest independent equipment rental companies in the Southeast. Based in Little Rock, Ark., Hugg & Hall is one of the leading industrial and equipment rental companies and dealerships operating in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.

Headquartered in Houma, La., RPM also has locations in Broussard and Baton Rouge, La. The majority of its revenue comes from the region’s onshore commercial and construction markets. It also derives revenue from the offshore oil and gas industry that includes skid-mounted air compressors and tools for painting, blasting, coating and other maintenance functions. RPM was founded in 2008 by Terry Gold. The acquisition will increase Hugg & Hall Equipment’s Louisiana footprint to 12 stores and position the company to capitalize on favorable industry and regional trends.
